Bill Murry and an Oliver table saw, who could ask for anything more in life? I guess I'd take the Maloof and Wegner pieces and bust a wall ride while I am at it.
almost had the chance to buy one of those table saws last year. didn't have the room, and the institution sent it to the scrappers... actually they sent it to multiple scrappers to make it impossible to save. they wanted 500$ for it. some things hurt.
it was not because my living room was not large enough, it was because they were afraid of future liability. i would have had a hard time letting it get eaten.

ReplyDeleteDon't forget your first attempt at making and testing a hand glider.
ReplyDeleteThe Oliver is impressive, dual arbor and a sliding table. It's on my wish list.

For 500$ bucks that saw could sit in my living room until i find space. It's to bad it got away.

ReplyDeleteI wasn't aware you could be held liable for selling someone 'defective' equipment that they later hurt themselves on. Bizarre, and a bummer.
